Trip Program

Our older girls have the opportunity to climb Mt. Katahdin, the highest point in Maine, led by certified Maine Trip Leaders with a sleep-out in lean-tos just steps away from the beautiful mid-mountain Chimney Pond or experience white water rafting down the Kennebec River with the Magic Falls Rafting Company complete with spending the night in Cabin tents and songs around the campfire.

Our 6th and 7th graders get to sail the high seas on an early 20th century wooden schooner. This overnight windjammer adventure takes place in Portland Harbor through the pristine waters of Casco Bay.

The OCs (Oldest Campers) look forward to a 4-day/3-night in the historic and beautiful city of Old Quebec. Staying in a clean, well maintained youth hostel in the heart of the city, this is a special bonding trip for our oldest campers as they are immersed in the culture through live music, fabulous food, window shopping and sightseeing.

For all age groups, there are many day trips from hikes amongst the Camden Hills, shorter hikes up Bradbury Mountain, or more vigorous climbs in the White Mountains of NH. We canoe down the Saco and Androscoggin Rivers as well as around our very own Lake Cobbosseecontee with overnights on Horseshoe Island.

Each session features an all-camp one-day adventure to either Popham Beach or Reid State Park, both featuring the white sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean.
