Welcome to the Kippewa Family!
We know that working at camp for the first time can seem a little overwhelming. The following information should
help in your preparation for the summer. You can also email us anytime

First, make sure your paperwork is in order:
Have you done everything you need to do?
- I have signed and returned the Kippewa for Girls contract
Due: Before the expiration date on the contract
- I have signed and returned the following forms: Kippewa for Girls rules and regulations, exhibit A, and substance abuse policy
Due: Before the expiration date on the contract
- International Staff: If hired you should have received instructions and passwords needed to fill out the
J-1 Visa application online.
Read the instructions very carefully - you need to fill out this form on your computer,
then print it, sign it, fax it and mail it in.
- I have obtained a background check from local police department
(Overseas and Canadian staff members only)
Due: Before June 1st
- I have submitted the background check authorization form
(American citizens only)
Due: Before June 1st
- I have submitted a State of Maine background check
(for Maine residents only)
Due: Before June 1st
- I have made my travel arrangements and have submitted the online travel form
Due: Before June 1st
- I have submitted the W-4 form with the bottom portion of the 1st page completed and signed.
Due: Before June 1st
- I have submitted the completed
Medical Form (form 1) - to be filled out by physician
Health History Form (form 2) - to be filled out by staff member
Due: Before the start of orientation

Americans and Canadian staff may want to ship bedding,
or other belongings, ahead of time.
